Pueblo Police Department needs your help in solving their most recent bank robbery. At approx. 12:25 p.m. a male party walked into the U.S. Bank located inside Albertson’s Supermarket, 1601 Hwy. 50 West, and demanded money.
The bank teller described the suspect as being a white male, approx. 30-35 years old, 5’8 – 5’10” tall, and 210-230 lbs. The suspect was wearing a dark colored doo-rag, sunglasses, black or dark brown leather jacket, jeans and white tennis shoes.
According to the bank teller the suspect walked up to the counter, pulled out a gun, and demanded money. After the robbery the suspect turned and casually walked out of the store in an unknown direction.

| | 8/13/2009 - THEFT 09-16622 | Pueblo Police need your help in identifying the two suspects seen in this photograph.
On August 13, 2009 Corporal Richard Valencia responded to Pueblo Community Health Center located at 310 Colorado Ave regarding a theft. Upon his arrival he contacted the victim, Rebecca Martinez, who stated sometime between 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. someone stole her wallet while working at Pueblo Community Health Center.
Ms. Martinez stated she did not realize her wallet had been stolen until later that day she received a call from her credit card company advising her that there was some suspicious activity on her account.
Ms. Martinez stated she later discovered her credit cards had been used at several different businesses such as Loaf N Jug, Wal-Mart, Sonic, and McDonalds. The photo seen here are from the south side Wal-Mart where the suspects purchased two I-pods valued at $558.48 with the stolen credit cards.
The female appears to be in her mid twenties, wearing a low cut shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and has a pair of sunglasses on her head. She appears to be around 5-5 to 5-9 tall and around 100-130 lbs. with brown hair.
The male is wearing a white t-shirt with a square emblem on it with black jeans and white shoes. He appears to be around his mid twenties around 5-5 to 5-9 tall with black hair and a medium build.
The total amount used on Martinez’ credit cards was over $1,545.00.

Pueblo Police need your help in an armed robbery of Pueblo Government Agencies Credit Union, 720 N. Greenwood. On 6/8/09 at approx. 4:19 p.m. a male party walked into the credit union and contacted a teller. Initially the suspect appeared to be casual and started his conversation with “Hi”. The suspect then pulls out a large semi-auto handgun from his waistband and tells the teller “I want all of your money or I’ll kill you”. The suspect then reached inside his left pocket and attempts to pull out a plastic type grocery bag. The bag gets stuck in his pocket and in the excitement of it all the suspect drops his weapon. The suspect quickly retrieved his gun, grabs the money, and fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 30-38-years-old, approx. 6’ tall, medium build, clean-shaven (possibly a mustache), wearing a gray baseball hat with a dark bill, and a pink and light green paisley type western long sleeve shirt.

Pueblo Police need your help in identifying the suspect in the robbery of Armstrong Jewelers on 5/13/09.
According to Officer Donnie Lambert on 5/13/09 at approx. 3:45 p.m. a black male walked into Armstrong Jewelers, 119 W. 4th St. and broke out a display case with a baton and removed multiple items of jewelry before leaving the store.
The suspect kept his head down as he walked into the store and over to the first display case. The suspect then pulled out a black baton and swung it several times hitting the chair fist and then the display case. He struck the display case several times until he was able to break the glass. Witnesses stated as the suspect was removing the jewelry from the display case he was yelling, “don’t be a hero”. After removing several pieces of jewelry the suspect ran out the front door and fled north on Main St.
The suspect was described as a heavyset black male, approx. 220 lbs., 5’11 – 6’0 tall wearing a white baseball cap, black jacket, black jeans, black gloves and black and white tennis shoes. The suspect also carried a black/white patterned bag with him, which he used to place the stolen items in before fleeing the scene.
Another witness stated they saw a white truck following the male suspect as he was running north on N. Main St. The witness stated there were two Hispanic males in the truck and one of them had his black hair pulled back into a ponytail. The white truck may have been a Ford dually with some type of emblem on the side doors possibly some type of company logo. It is unknown at this time if the with truck was involved in the robbery but police are not ruling it out at this time.

| | 4/15/2009 - 2nd Deg. Burglary of Jr`s Country Store 550 E. Abriendo |

Pueblo police need you help in identifying the suspect seen in these photographs. On 3/7/09 at approx. 1:45 p.m. police were in the vicinity of 500 block of E. Abriendo when they heard an audible alarm going off. Police soon learned the alarm was coming from JR’s Country Store, 550 E. Abriendo. Upon checking the store they found the front door damaged but were unsure if entry had been gained. The assistant manager arrived and checked the business and found that entry had been gained and the suspect had taken several cartons of cigarettes from behind the counter.
The video surveillance tape showed a Hispanic male had kicked a hole in the front glass door and gained entry. The male then ran around the counter and stole what appeared to be seven miscellaneous cartons of cigarettes.
The male is described as a Hispanic male, 5’10-6’ tall, medium build wearing dark colored baseball hat, white sweatshirt, blue sweatpants and white tennis shoes. The male was last seen heading eastbound around the store.

On 3/27/09 at approx. 9:35 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the south side K-Mart regarding a burglary in progress. When officers arrival at the store they observed a 2` X 3` front window pane broken out.
According to the store video once the suspect gained access into the store he immediately went to the jewelry counter and shattered 5 display cases and removed several thousands dollars worth of jewelry.
The suspect, as seen in the store security video, is a male party wearing a black short sleeved shirt, light pants and black shoes. It appeared the suspect is approx. 5`6 - 5`8" tall, short dark hair, thin build and possibly in his late teens.

| | 2/10/2009 - Robbery Gordon Jewelry Store 09-003037 | 

Pueblo Police need your help in identifying the male party who was involved in a robbery at Gordon Jewelers located in the Pueblo Mall on Tuesday, 2/10/09, at approx. 7:40 p.m.
According to police reports a male party entered the store and asked to see a diamond ring. When the store clerk showed him the ring he asked to see a second ring. When the clerk pulled out the second ring from the case the suspect jumped up from his chair and grabbed the second ring from her hand and fled the store with both rings. The store clerk attempted to stop the suspect to no avail.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approx. 6’ tall, heavy build approx. 200-225 lbs. and short black hair. The suspect was wearing a white tee shirt, dark colored pants, brown colored leather jacket with bright green trim and a dark hat.

Pueblo Police needs your help in solving two burglaries of a local Pueblo business. According to Det. Shane Pope the 15th St. Standard Station located at 1437 Court St. in Pueblo was burglarized twice last November. Both times the suspects entered the store by breaking out the front window. A clear photograph of one of the suspect’s has been obtained from the store security camera and Det. Pope hopes someone will be able to identify the suspect responsible for both burglaries.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, early 20’s with short brown or black hair. The suspect was wearing a “Playerz 69” jacket in both of the security camera photographs. At least one other individual was with the suspect at the time of the burglaries. In one photograph dated 11/21/08 the second suspect was wearing dark colored pants and a camouflaged type jacket or hooded sweatshirt. On 11/29/08 (one week later) the same suspect returns wearing the same “Playerz 69” jacket however the second suspect was wearing all black clothing.

Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is requesting your help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for over $500,000.00 damage to KC Ready Mix cement trucks. According to Sgt. Leroy Mora of the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Department, on 1/7/09 at approx. 8:45 a.m. Officers responded to 1302 Gray Ave. (KC Ready Mix) on a criminal mischief report. According to KC Ready Mix personnel – the suspect or suspects had entered the property through the main gate and started 8 cement trucks and while the trucks were running they removed the oil drain plugs allowing all the engine oil to drain out and stall the engines thus damaging all 8 cement trucks.
Sgt. Mora is requesting anyone with information regarding this damage to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (542-7867).

Pueblo Police need your help in identifying the male suspect in this photograph. According to police reports on 1/1/09 at approx. 21:58 hrs, just before closing, a Hispanic male suspect walked into JR’s Country Store, 3920 Hollybrook Ln, walked around the store and then approached the clerk with his left hand in his pocket demanding all the money. The clerk did not take the suspect serious at first until he demanded the money again and then made a motion towards his left hand, which was still in his pocket indicating he had a gun.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his 30’s, 5’2” tall, chunky build, beard or goatee, rotten or bad teeth and possibly bald.
After receiving the money the suspect fled the store on foot south bound towards Devonshire. No vehicle was seen leaving the area.

Pueblo Police need your help in identifying the black male see in this photograph.
According to police report the suspect entered J B Robinson jewelry store located in the Pueblo Mall at approx 10:30 a.m. and asked to see their engagement rings. The male party looked at one ring and then asked to see one with a larger stone. The sales clerk then showed the suspect another ring with a larger stone. Upon receiving the expensive ring the suspect immediately turned and ran from the store.
The male suspect is described as a black male, in his mid 20’s, 5’11”, 200-210 lbs with short black hair, mustache and a chipped upper front tooth (left bicuspid). The male suspect was wearing a red and black “Jordan” tennis shoes, black shorts and a red and back matching shirt.
Police were also advised that a similar incident had happened at the Chapel Hills mall in Colorado Springs and believe the incidents may be related do to the manner in which the thefts were committed.

On 9/15/08 the Sunflower bank located at 1715 S. Pueblo Blvd. was robbed at approx. 4:47 p.m. The suspect walked to the counter and handed the teller a note. The teller took the money out of the drawer and placed the money on the counter. The male grabbed the money and ran out of the bank. The suspect left southbound behind the Regency Square Shopping Center. The suspect was described as a white male in his 50’s, 5’6 to 5’7” tall, 170-180 lbs., white or blonde hair, and wearing a red baseball cap, gray zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.

| | 8/5/2008 - Criminal Mischief - Roselawn Cemetery | Who’s Responsible?
Pueblo County Sheriff’s Department needs your help in attempting to locate the suspect or suspects involved in the massive property damage at Roselawn Cemetery located at 1706 Roselawn.
According to Sgt. Leroy Mora of the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Department, on 8/5/08 Deputies responded to Roselawn Cemetery in regard to a property damage. Upon their arrival Deputies found 86 historical head stones knocked over and damaged. The dollar amount of the damage to the head stones is reported to be in the range of $130,000.00. The Sheriff’s Department is hoping someone will come forward with information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for the destruction of so many head stones. In additional to the Crime Stopper reward, Mr. Bob Rawlings, Publisher/Editor of The Pueblo Chieftain, has offered an additional $500.00 reward. Pueblo Crime Stoppers is hoping that the additional $500.00 Mr. Rawlings has offered will help initiate a call from the public in order to bring justice to those responsible for the annihilation of the historical head stones.

Police need your help in identifying the suspects seen in these photos. According to police reports the male and female suspects pulled into the Loaf ‘n Jug store at 1201 Pueblo Blvd. to get gas. As the male was pumping the gas the female suspect walked into the store and used the restroom. The two suspects then left in a tan colored sedan with the female driving. A few minutes later the male came walking into the store from the side of the building and stated he needed to us the restroom. The male suspect then walked up to the counter to purchase some cigarettes and then ran behind the counter, waiving a knife at the clerk, and demanded the money from the cash register. The male clerk was able to get away from the male suspect and later witnessed him jumping into the tan colored sedan and fleeing the area.
The male is described a dark Hispanic male with black hair combed back, wearing a blue Red Socks #34 jersey. The female was wearing a black tank top, camouflage pants and carrying a large gray purse. Both suspects appeared to be in their late 20’s early 30’s.

Police need your help in identifying the male seen in this picture. According to Police reports on Monday, March 10th, this male entered a Liquor Store in the Mesa Junction area and asked the clerk if he could change four quarters for a dollar. When the clerk opened the cash register the suspect reached over and grabbed several twenty-dollar bills from the register and fled the scene. Minutes later the same suspect enters another Liquor Store on the south side of town and again asked the clerk to exchange four quarters for a dollar bill. Once the clerk opened the cash register the suspect again reaches over the counter and grabbed several twenty-dollar bills. After a small chase by the clerk the suspect was scene jumping into the passenger side of a dark blue or black SUV.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male; in his early twenty’s wearing a dark blue sweatshirt, blue baseball cap with a white letter “E” and an unknown emblem on the brim, light blue jeans and white tennis shoes
