1/20/2010 - Theft From An At-Risk Adult 10-001258

On 01/20/10 Pueblo Police Officers were sent to 1322 E. 8th St., Safeway on a theft.  Upon arrival an 80-year-old female reported that a heavy-set, bald, Hispanic male in black pants and a black shirt followed her from inside the store into the parking lot.  As she was preparing to load her groceries into her vehicle the male approached her and asked to use her cell phone.  As she was telling him she did not have one the male grabbed her purse from inside the shopping cart and ran off.

The suspect then got into an older model black Chevy truck that was waiting in the area with another Hispanic male inside and drove off at a high rate of speed.  The truck did not have license plates on it. The victim lost several pieces of personal ID as well as credit cards and a checkbook
